Guillotine shears
Guillotine shears work with permanently installed blades. State-of-the-art grinding techniques help to reduce the cutting forces. Sheeter knives made of tool steel, high-speed steel (HSS), tungsten carbide and PM steel can be manufactured up to lengths of 4,500 mm.
Veneering knives
State-of-the-art grinding technology helps to obtain maximum flatness, straightness and parallelism of the knife. This allows veneering wood to be cut for hours and hours while keeping to tight limits of tolerance. Surfaces and cutting edges of almost any type of knife or blade are submitted to finishing grinding. The service includes special grinding procedures tailored to the materials being cut:
- Abrasive belt grinding (micro-finish), provides dust-free cutting and maximum service life
